The Founders
We are a team of experienced professionals with a diverse background with a united passion for finding out what life is all about. We are figuring out how a purposeful life can look like in today’s society – using psychological insights, scientific approaches and technical solutions.
Despina Giannopoulou holds a computer science degree, an MBA, and a Masters in Personalized Nutrition. With 25+ years in operations, BizDev, and sales in IT and TelCo companies, she upgraded her career to 5+ years in health coaching to follow her passion of upgrading the human spirit.
Dr. Valentin Schellhaas holds a PhD in psychology and has worked for 15 years in various international roles and industries in strategy consulting and eCommerce, incl. as Manager for Bain & Company, as Managing Director of career platform Experteer, and as global CMO for Westwing Home & Living.
Regina Maueröder studied psychology and gained a wide range professional experience – across family office, big corporate, or non-for-profit venture. For more than 15 years her focus has been on advising people in change situations. As a certified coach and trainer she guides people in pursuing purpose in their lives.

Prof. Dr. Dieter Frey currently heads the Center for Leadership and People Management and for 25 years held the chair for social psychology at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich. He's been an advisor and trainer to academia and economy in many topics such as leadership, motivation, innovation, etc. He's a member of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and was elected German psychologist of the year in 1998.
Dirk is a renowned expert in brand strategy and value-based brand positioning. He co-lead the creative agency Heye + Partner, was a Vice President for the Scout24 Group and Managing Partner at Martin et Karczinski, a leading agency in brand strategy. In his career, Dirk was responsible for more than 65 large brand campaigns and projects.
Paul Kirby is a former partner at KPMG and the global head of public services and government. In his career, he has been Head of the Number 10 Policy Unit, as well as working in the media, education, transport and urban regeneration sectors. Paul is a Visiting Professor at the LSE, was a Director of Bethnal Green Ventures and a Non-Executive Director of the Cabinet Office.
Yannic Metz is a digital entrepreneur with experience in incubating and scaling digital products - for startups and large scale companies. He holds a dual master of Innovation & Information from Uni Marburg and from Tecnologico de Monterrey in Mexico. Previously Yannic worked for Atos IT Solutions and mantro.
Gary Lewis lectures at the Department of Psychology at Royal Holloway, University of London and has published extensively on the subject of personality psychology. He previously lectured at the Universities of York and Stirling, was a fellow at the Sage Center for the Study of the Mind at the University of California, and holds a PhD from the University of Edinburgh.
